Framed Name

I framed my best friend's last name as her gift this year in some of her favorite colors.  This is how it turned out.

She loved  it.  I have a few more to make for my daughters, and granddaughter.  When they are done I will post them.

More projects from Giftables Camp

We made a pouch and Christmas tags using the Tags til Christmas stamp set.

We also made a box.  I decorated it using the Priceless stamp set.  The box was very easy to make, I cased the directions from www.creationsbypatti.blogspot.com

The lid is 5 1/8 x 5 1/8  scored 1inch on all sides.
The box is 7 x 7  scored on all sides at 2 inches.
Pretty simple.

Lack of posts

Sorry for the lack of posts.  I have been busy with  my kids being on winter break and getting ready for Christmas.  I hope everyone had a nice Christmas with their family and friends.  I know I did, it even snowed.
This week I will be posting projects we made at my last Stamp Camp, it was a Giftables camp.  The ladies and I had a great time.  We made 5 projects that would make great gifts for teachers, family, friends, or co-workers.

I cased these 2 ideas from http://www.frenchiestamps.com/     The first is a cute mini purse and the other is a little candy dish.

I used the Jolly Holiday DSP.  These would make great gifts anytime of the year.

Patriotic Stampers November Meeting

November's meeting was held at my home this month.  Which was great, because I was able to get my husband to finish some projects around the house that were half finish.  Maybe I will start hosting one every other month, but he would probably catch on.  We had a great turn out and a lot of fun.  We learned how to make a Shadow Box card and we also made a gift card holder.  Today and tomorrow and I post the swaps I received from our meeting.

Our swap theme for this month was thinking of you, thank you and sympathy.

Blue Owl

Still having fun making different size cards.  Here is a fun 3x3 card.  This is the first time I'm actually using the owl punch as an owl, I've been using it for ghosts.  I also saw it use for a cute penguin, I will have to try that too.  This is a great punch. If you would like to order just click on Shop Online at the top of the page or email me at gottastamp2@comcast.net   I used Celebration DSP for his tummy.

Turkey Punch Card

I've seen alot of punch turkeys, and this is my version of a turkey.  This is my first time of trying punch art.  I had alot of fun creating him.  It is a 5x5 card for a little something different.

I used the following punches to make the turkey:
      1 3/8 x 5/8 Oval
      Word Window
      1 1/4 Circle
      1 3/4 Scallop Circle
      Corner Rounder
I also use the #4 Texture plates for the card background.

Cute Little Purse

I saw this Little Purse on another blog and had to make it.  It only took about 10-15 minutes to make.  I will be adding this to my gifts class in December and using to give as one too. You can fit a couple of chocolate nuggets or a chap stick in this little purse.  This is the link where you can find a tutorial on how to make this.  It only uses a 6x6 piece of designer paper or card stock.

Halloween Treats

These are the treats that I made for Jaime and Keely's classmates and teachers.  We made about 50 Franks and 20 Soap holders.  I got the idea from http://pinkbuckaroodesigns.blogspot.com/2010/08/halloween-soap-holder-tutorial.html. I change the measurements as I used a different sized soap then she did. Frank I received as a swap at my downline meeting.

Creative Sketches & Mojo Monday wk 100

This is my first try at challenges and I decided to combine two.  The sketch is from MojoMonday wk100 and the other was a color challenge from Creative Sketches from last week.  The colors were Always Artichoke, Marina Mist, and Soft Suede.  I didn't think I going to like the colors together but once the card came together I really like it and will use that color combo again.

Thanks for looking.

Neighbors think I'm crazy

Well the neighbors now think I'm crazy.  We are having Indian summer here in Aurora, Illinois, so after I pulled my weeds today I decided to get created with some of my pictures of the cards we made a the Stamp-a-Stack I had on Saturday.  I was carry my cards around my yard and having them pose with other things like leaves and a fall decoration I had in the house.  Yes all the neighbors were out watching as I was laying on the ground trying to get the best pictures.  I think I should stick to the back yard where it is fenced 6 feet high and not use the front yard for all to see.  So I hope you enjoy my creative pictures over the next couple days.

The first card is using the Pun Fun stamp set and the second card with the butterfly is the Punch Potpourri which is a Hostess set.
