You're Sublime

I can't believe it is already Wednesday!  Yesterday I spent the whole day doing laundry (10 loads) and cleaning, my least favorite things to do.  This morning I took my daughter Jaime to get her driving permit. Yeah!  Now it's time to play caught up.

Today I have a fun sketch from Paper Craft Crew.  I hope you will play along with us.  The sketch:

This is what I did with the sketch:

I used the You're Sublime stamp set.  I added some gogglie eyes to my frog.  I used the Honeycomb embossing folder, I wanted it to kinda look like lily pads.  I used some of the new In Colors, Cucumber Crush and Tip Top Taupe.
Now it's your turn to show us what you can do with the sketch.  Need more inspiration?!  Click here to see what the rest of the Design Team has created for you.

ctd347 and FMS191

I am back again today with two more challenges combined into one card.  The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches and the color combo is from Color Throwdown.

I really like the You're Sublime stamp set.  I cut all the words off so that I can use that pictures and words on their own.

I am back trying a new challenge today over at TGIF.  Its call TGIF throw-down it is kinda like Chopped the cooking show.

I have a pantry of items, that I can use (my staples):

Then comes the challenge you can only use at least four items out
the next basket which will change each month.

This is my card I came up with:

I used the stripe in the Work of Art stamp set, you can't really tell but I spritzed Blushing Bride Reinker on the Whisper White card.  I used the Butterfly Thinlits, the larger butterfly.  I used a small Gold Foil Doilies for the center of the butterfly and wrapped white bakers twine around the middle.  I sponged the butterfly with blackberry bliss.  This was fun challenge I look forward to next months!
So what do you think?

Cards from my last class

Today I have some of the cards that we made at my last Create a Stack card class.

I really love this color combo, it's Crumb Cake, Soft Sky,
Watermelon Wonder and Silver on the balloons.

This is a very simple but elegant wedding card all in Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla.

This is card has no layering really.  It was on stamped on Whisper White layer on a Whisper White base.

I really didn't have any graduation stamps, so I just made a cap out of a square.
But I did have the words.

I love the background paper I made.  I used Typeset DSP it has graph paper in it,
then I randomly stamped the passport and suitcase on it.

I just completed another challenge!  I am having so much fun doing these challenges, I have been wanted to do them but never set the time aside to do it.  This summer I have set and made time to complete them and I am having fun too!

This challenge I found over at TGIF challenges, it appears they do all kinds of challenges, looks like fun.  This week it is a card sketch:

This is what I created with the sketch:

No stamps for this one.  I used a Happy Birthday embossing folder from Cuttlebug.  The DSP is from Stampin' Up! Cherry on Top DSP Stack.  I used Rose Red and Tip Top Taupe card stock.

I also decorated the inside too with left overs.

SIP #1

I have stumbled across a brand new challenge blog that looks to be a fun one, it's call Stamp ink Paper.

The first challenge was card makers choice.

This is the card I came up with:

I used 3 different stamp sets
to create this card, Choose Happiness, Butterfly Basics, and Kinda Eclectic.
My base is Lost Lagoon, layered with Natural Vanilla.  I used Lost Lagoon, Early Espresso,
Garden Green, Night of Navy, and Tip Top Taupe inks.
I added a little bit of Venetian Crochet Trim.  I love how it turned out!  This was a fun challenge, can't wait to see what the next one will be.

Happy Creating!
