Cupcakes

The kids wanted to make some cupcakes, but I didn't have the stuff to make it.  I told them the cupcakes we could make were with stamps and punches.  They weren't too happy with that but they made a couple a pictures.  I made a couple of cards using the cupcake punch, polka dots, chevron, and banners.

Sketch Frenzy Friday!

I can't believe the weekend is already here!  This week went by too fast, maybe because the kids had a short week only 3 days in school this week.  Plus it is so cold!  Anyway here is a great sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday.  Here is the sketch:

Gray Flowers

It is a little gray and gloomy here, I think it might snow again. :(    So I made a card all gray with just a little pop of yellow.  Like the sun that is trying to peek out.  I wasn't sure I would like the flowers all gray but it kinda of gives it a vintage feel.

What do you think?  I colored the three pearls with a silver sharpie.

Yeah it's Wednesday!

Kids have been home on a long weekend break, but they went back to school today!:)  It is also time for a sketch from Paper Craft Crew.  With this card I used some colors I usually don't put together and stamps I haven't used much, what a great combo!  Here is the sketch from PCC:

It is hard to tell but I colored the pearls with a silver sharpie to make them gray.  I also use Baked Brown Sugar Core'dination card stock and embossed it with the Alphabet Press embossing folder, then sanded it.

Hexagon Thank you

I needed to send out a couple of Thank you cards.  I have not used my hexagon punch much so I choose that for todays card. 

Clean and simply.  With a touch of a butterfly wherever I can add one.

Rhino Birthday

It is snowing like crazy here!  They said 1 to 3 inches but we already have 3 inches and it is still snowing.  It is a good day to stamp.  I had a stamp class this morning before it starting snowing, I will show those projects later this week.  Today I am showing you a card I saw on Laura Haffke's blog, it was so cute I had to give it a try.

Isn't he cute?  I love using the chevron punch.

Follow My Heart

My granddaughter Keely received a new sweatshirt for Christmas, it was white, coral, and had a black sparkly heart on it.  That was the inspiration for my color scheme  for the two cards I created.  Not the usual colors you would use for a Valentine's Day cards.  Here they are:

Yeah!!  The kids are back in school.  I created some cards without any sayings on them incase I need to send a note to the teachers or anyone else.

Rev up the Fun!

This is a great stamp set to make guy cards, which is what I am doing.  I don't have any!  This card I saw on Connie Babbert's blog  and I had to make it, you will see why.

I added the Silver Glimmer Brads to the wheels for hub caps.  This card can be used for any age.
