Happy Halloween!

We are having a soggy Halloween, I am hopping it clears up by the time we go Trick or Treating.  Here is the pumpkin the DH helped my granddaughter carve.

 She picked it because she know how much I like butterflies.  These are the treats that she is giving out today at school.

I got the idea from Kimberley Morris's blog . Kim has the directions on how to make the ghosts.  I made about 50 of them to hand out.

What a great weekend!

This weekend I went to Ronda Wade's Creative Escape, we had such a great time.  Made a lot of great projects, shared ideas, and lots of laughs.  I will share the projects starting tomorrow.  Today I have a banner that I made.  It doesn't use very many stamps but it represents me and what I like.

Christmas 3x3

I am sure I have mentioned it before that I love making 3x3 cards.  Here is a 3x3 that we did in my Christmas card class.  We used just the corner of the Northern Flurry embossing folder and the stamp is from the set Perfectly You, which is a Hostess set.

Pink Poinsettia

I know you usually see the poinsettia done in red, but I love rare ones that you find that are pink and white.  This is my attempt at creating one.  I heat embossed the poinsettia in Melon Mambo and then sponged the inside of the flower with Melon Mambo.  I colored the Rhinestone Jewels with a yellow sharpie then put them in the center.  The card base is Gumball Green.   What do you think?
 

I have made so many great Christmas cards I can't decide which one to make as the card I will be using to send out this year.  I need to decide as it will be here before you know!

Banner Christmas

For the banner I used the Modern Label punch and 7/8 Scallop Circle punch.  I just folded them in half over the Baker's twine and put glue dots between them.  We made this in my Christmas in the Air! class.  The ladies enjoyed the class we made 10 cards, 5 designs, 2 of each design.  If you would like to join us contact me the next class is Oct 18th.

Butterfly Card

Still using chevron embossing folder.  I trying to use some different colors together, not too sure of this one basic gray, very vanilla, costal cabana, and wisteria wonder.  What do you think?

Birthday Cake

I love the chevron pattern.  The stamp came with candles on it but I cut them off to use as need.  I put a party hat on top instead of candles.  The hat and words are from the set Sketch Birthday, another great set.  I have a birthday theme swap coming up, this maybe the card.

Paper Craft Crew Sketch

A nice simple sketch to work with.  I went with a Halloween themed card.  Here's my take:
