I have 3 great projects for you using products from the new Occasions Mini Catalog or that I received for FREE from the Sale -a- bration brochure.  Please let me know what you think.

This is a mini paint can.  I used the DSP Twitterpated and the 2 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch to make the medallion on top of the paint can.  I put a Paper Daisies with a Brights Red Glimmer Brad.  I wrapped 5/8 Organza Whisper White Ribbon around the handle and the bottom of the can, along with 3/8 Pleated Satin Ribbon Riding Hood Red.  I filled the can with Chocolate Cherry M&M's. (yum!)  The DSP and Pleated Ribbon are in the Occasions Mini.

My second project is a 4x4 Easel card, Hangin with my gnomies.

The stamp sets are from the Occasions Mini catalog.  Gnome Sweet Gnome and Gnomenclature.

The last card is using DSP Twitterpated from the Occasions Mini and DSP Brights Collection.  I also used the middle part from the Paper Doily Sizzlits Die from the new mini. I used the Hello stamp out of the stamp set that you can get for FREE in the Sale a bration broucher Elementary Elegance.

First big snow of Winter

January 12th was our first "big" snow of winter.  We got about 5 inches.  My granddaughter Keely could hardly wait to get outside to play in it.  Here she is making a snow angel.

Starting with the next blog entry I will be trying a new format, it will have more details about my projects that I have created.  I would love to hear what you think of it.

At our December meeting we did a Shoebox Swap.  A great time was had by all.  These are the projects we made:

The Owl Matchbook is the project I created.  It has two 3x3 cards inside.

Flowers for Job Promotion

My Best Friend Elida received a well deserved job promotion and a new office to go with it.  Elida and I have been friends since we were 3 years old.  I made her a vase of flowers that would last.  I decorated both sides of the flowers so no matter where she put them on her desk she could enjoy them.

Congratulation Elida!

Potpourri of Projects

I am still playing catch up.  Some of my projects are from the last couple of months.

Some of these projects I got the ideas from other blogs, but of course I can not find the piece of paper I was keeping track of it on.  I have now started a notebook, so that it will be harder to lose.  If you see one of your projects here and credit has not been noted please shot me an e-mail and I will update the entry to give you the credit.
